Chapter 3 - Adoption  
     
1.
 Animus, aeon  
2.
 We give thanks that  
3.
 You give us this child in our home in which to dwell.
 
4.
 We give you thanks for the child who has come to bless this family and for the parents who have taken this child to be their own.
 
5.
 I call on the Earth, I call on Animus the singular mind of humanity and on Aeon the ancestors to hear my call.
 
6.
 I am (now) aware of my adoption.
  
7.
 This is my home, yet I (now) know that my birth parents are others beyond my life parents.
  
8.
 Help me and be with me as I feel these emotions.
  
9.
 Be with me and help me to come to terms with being connected to people whose faces I may never have seen, whose names I may never know.
  
10.
 Guide me through thoughts of anger, frustration, fear or guilt.
  
11.
 Free my mind of any negativity I might consider on myself or my adopted parents and family.
  
12.
 For I see in the understanding of UCA that everything has a purpose and everything happens for a reason.
  
13.
 I understand that I am special and I am loved by you.
  
14.
 Grant me the peace to accept my unique life journey and to love those who love me, whether we share more of the same DNA or not.
