Chapter 3 - Infancy  
     
1.
 That we live in cities still means that we live in cultural tribes.
  
2.
 The celebration of baptism is a celebration of our welcoming into the tribe as a valued member and ready to accept our apprenticeship.

 So it is the celebration of Baptism on a Full Moon within 30 days of 2nd birthday.
  
4.
 the celebration of becoming a child,
  
5.
 the acceptance of the commencement of formal cultural learning, of schooling
  
6.
 We call to CORPUS, ANIMUS, AEON
  
7.
 The unique awareness of the one.
  
8.
 The one and the all.
  
9.
 Hear our call.
 
10.
 Bless this infant (name).
  
11.
 Protect them and keep them from all harm.
  
12.
 Bless the family of (name).
  
13.
 Protect them and help them to provide for (name) so that they can live a happy childhood.
  
14.
 So let it be!
  
15.
 At this moment, we call on UNITAS, GAL, SOL, GAIA, CORPUS, ANIMUS and AEON.
  
16.
 We call by name GAIA, that which is the Earth from which (name) came.
  
17.
 We call by name CORPUS the unique awareness that is life from which (name) came to be life.
  
18.
 We call by name ANIMUS, the unique singular that is humanity of which (name) is one.
  
19.
 We call by name AEON, the ancestors and guardians who guide and guard (name).
  
20.
 Grant us your grace and hear our call.
  
21.
 We recognise this day this child (name), born to (name of parents) here before us.
  
22.
 We recognise and welcome this child today as a member of our community, our community spirit, the spirit of our neighbourhood and friendships.

 We recognise this day those family members here present, those friends and acquaintances present to bless (name)
  
24.
 We baptise (name) today into our community. We recognise this mark as the mark of someone blessed by the ancestors, by animus and by all here present.
  
25.
 We baptise (name) today in the expectation that they will accept this membership into our community by seeking to learn and participate to be benefit of themselves and others, for the betterment of their community.
  
26.
 We baptise (name) today as a pledge from all here present that we will honor the vow to protect and support (name) should they lose protection of a natural guardian.
  
27.
 May (name) be blessed.
  
28.
 May the family of (name) be blessed.
  
29.
 May the friends and acquaintances of (name) be blessed.
  
30.
 May we all be blessed this day in witness to our brother/sister (name).
  
31.
