Chapter 1 - Transition | |

It is a historic human tradition to celebrate the announcement of pregnancy, |

To wish the safe passage of the baby to full term. |
|
3. |
So it is the ceremony and celebration of transition. |
|
4. |
The Passage of one form, state, to another. |
|
5. |
The celebration at the announcement of a pregnancy to a family and the community. |
|
6. |
A time to pray to the ancestors, earth and UCA that the baby is safe and in good health. |
|
7. |
Whether or not it is the destiny of the embryo to be successfully delivered to full term, the birth of a unique human awareness needs and deserves that support from those that love us. |
|
8. |
In the light celebrated on Full Moon when announcement is appropriate. |
|
9. |
To AEON we celebrate at this moment, |
|
10. |
the joyous news of recent pregnancy. |
|

During this time of waiting, |
|

we ask you to protect and nurture |
|
13. |
this new life and to watch over the safety of a new life . |
|
14. |
May this child come safely into the light of the world and experience the uniqueness of a complete human life. |
