Chapter 28 (be generous to the poor) | |
1. |
Do not seize a widow when You find her in the fields, |
|
2. |
and then fail to be patient with her reply. |
|
3. |
Do not refuse your oil jar to a stranger. |
|
4. |
Double it before your brothers. |
|
5. |
God loves him who honors the poor, |
|
6. |
to him who worships the wealthy. |
