As to the heated man in the temple,
|
|
2. |
he is like a tree growing indoors, only
|
|
3. |
a moment lasts its growth of shoots, and
|
|
4. |
its end comes about in the woodshed, or
|
|
5. |
it is floated far from its place,
|
|
6. |
the flame is its burial shroud.
|
|
7. |
The truly silent, who keeps apart,
|
|
8. |
he is like a tree grown in a meadow.
|
|
9. |
it greens, it doubles its yield,
|
|
10. |
it stands in front of its Lord,
|
|
11. |
its fruit is sweet, its shade delightful,
|
|
12. |
its end is reached in the garden.
